LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said on Wednesday that his party would fulfill the promise made by Quaid-e-Azam to the minorities and protect their rights, Geo News reported.
Addressing TI’s minority convention in Lahore, Imran Khan congratulated the crowd by saying that a new Pakistan was about to be formed.
Imran Khan said the powerful segment of the country would always be against formation of a society based on justice because the same would create hurdles in his corrupt ways, Geo News reported.
He said the powerful would never want justice; it is a need of the weak.
"Tehreek-e-Insaf will strengthen the weak to bring him at par with the powerful," the TI Chief vowed.
He said Allah almighty is for all human beings, for Whom all human beings are equal. Tehreek-e-Insaf will bring a system of justice in the country, he reiterated his resolve.
Irman Khan said a rally for peace will be organized in Karachi this month on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam’s birth anniversary and Christmas, adding Tehreek-e-Insaf would fulfill the promise that Quaid-e-Azam made to the minorities.
"No such law will be made that creates a divide among people and Pakistan will be turned into the state of Quaid-e-Azam and Khilafat-e-Rashida," Imran Khan promised.
He said all the rights of minorities will be protected. "Sikhs, Hindus and Christians will be protected."
The TI Chief said now no one could stop the Tsunami from coming. Everyone will witness ‘the Tsunami of justice’ on December 25 in Karachi, he added.
