Lollywood Movie Review: 5 Ghantey Main 5 Crore

Bollywood faithful are anxiously awaiting “5 Ghantey Main 5 Crore” starring talented Indian actor, Shawar Ali, alongside Lollywood veteran actress, Meera, directed by Faisal Saif.

The movie is said to be in a post production phase but has already grabbed some attention after releasing the teasing on the internet along with the movie songs. The upcoming flick is Saif’s third project in the Film Industry under
the banner of J.S Movie Entertainment.

The plot of the movie follows the story of a chartered accountant, Vikram (Shawar) and his keep Soniya (Meera) who are awaiting Muqaddam (the person who is coming to deliver 5 Crore at the Farm House).

Shawar works in an organization named, Sultan Corporation, owned by Sultan (played by renowned Indian actor, Ranjeet). However Vikram and Soniya made a plan prior to the coming of Muqaddam.

The star duo starts their plan perfectly, to kill the delivery boy, in order to escape with the large sum of money to their secret dug-out, Singapore away from Sultan.

But their hopes to execute the plan, to start a new life with the mouthwatering 50 million Rupees, were dashed by the sudden entry of Karan Oberoi.

Oberoi, Sonia’s Junior Ex Classmate, hinder their plan as his car broke down in front of the farm house and then the dirty game of love, murder, deceit and betrayal starts.

What makes the upcoming movie more desirable is the fact that the music has been one by Leonard Victor, renowned composer of Punjabi songs. The fact that the song ‘Kya Wajah Thi Tere Jaaney Ki’ is reaping immense popularity and
most download in the category is the proof of the statement.

The Worldwide records are proud to include the soft voice of, Rustam Fateh Ali Khan- the disciple of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and the gold medallist at All Pakistan Music conference (1998). He has done two songs for the much
anticipated movie and much is expected from the talented singer.

“5 Ghantey Main 5 Crore” was set to release in December, 2011 but due to some technical difficulties, the movie will now release in the first month of next year.
