Akshay Kumar, who is an Indian film actor, producer and martial artist, is perhaps the only Indian actor who has performed his own stunts ever since his debut in Bollywood. Still the actor, who is often
described as one of the fittest stars in Bollywood, has revealed sometimes he gets really scared before performing a stunt.
The action and comic hero told the media that he is performing stunts on his own since his first Bollywood film ‘Saugandh’ which was released in 1991 but still there are a few stunts he feels scary about.
He said he recites Gayatri Mantra before performing those stunts.
“I have done a lot of action in which I get really scared. But it’s more of a good fear that I feel. Like a human body, which has good cholesterol and bad cholesterol, similarly we have good fear and bad
fear,” said Akshay who was last seen in “Desi Boyz.
Akshay Kumar is considered as the best action hero by many out there. He was also awarded as the ‘original khiladi’ of Bollywood after he acted in a series of Khiladi series. Nevertheless, Akshay thinks
actors should not be compared with each other in this way; as he believes this sort of comparison provoke fights in between the actors.
“We are not fighting for any title. We are not race horses that you bet on them. We all actors are in one fraternity and we do films so that our industry progresses and not because we want to fight with
each other for a title,” the 44-year-old actor said here while being presented as the brand ambassador of Viacom18?s youth channel SONIC.
Akshay Kumar is recently working on yet another ‘khiladi’ film titled ‘Khiladi 786’, which is being co-produced by him and Himesh Reshammiya. He is also working on some other projects that include ‘Housefull
2’, ‘Joker’, ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2’.
