Islamabad (December16), America’s ambassador to Pakistan, Cameron Munter, said today that his government was working on the strategy to avoid Mohamand agency like tragic incidents in the future. While talking to the media personal,
the American envoy reiterated that the NATO/ American attack on the Pakistan army posts was not deliberate.
Adding up to his remarks, Munter said that the US central command was investigating into the same at two levels, the findings of which would come to fore within weeks.
It was a tragic thing to happen, Munter said. He further said, “Year 2011 was a tough year for Pakistan and US as allies”.
Calling for efforts to de-estrange Pakistan-US relation, he stressed the trust deficit between both the strategic partners must come to an end.
While the US envoy to Pakistan is claiming that they are working to avoid the tragic incidents like the one in Mohmand Agency in future, there are news regarding the US planning to attack Pakistani territories all over again in
March-April next year.
The reasons for why America, which claims to be the largest ally of the Pakistan, is planning to launch a full scale war against the country is that with having its presidential elections around the corner, the ruling lot in the
US is looking forward to the ways employing which they can save their faces before the angry masses.
As per the news from well placed sources, the American forces are planning to attack Pakistan in the territories of North and South Waziristan, claiming to annihilate the Taliban hideouts. If the US do so, the Pakistan army is
expected to retaliate with full force.
Provided the fact that US forces have been beaten to death by the non professional force of Taliban in Afghanistan and far less professional fighters in Iraq, it is evident that it is going to get a hard beating in the hands of
7th largest force in the world.
Moreover, after doing so, it will become impossible for the US to vacate Afghanistan – a far more dangerous place when its forces will be under attack from right left and centre and that too with minimum support from China and
other influential countries around the world.
