Dr. Mohammed Yaseen, who proposed the 1500 list of words to be banned, was found having sent a number of texts with extremely obscene language.

It seems that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, have another controversy on their hands as Dr. Muhammad Yaseen, the Chairman of PTA, finds himself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons after evidence was presented of him using some rather colourful
language in his text messages.

The news broke in the early hours of Sunday morning, when his Personal Assistant, Javed Ahmed Bakhtiar, came forward with the story. Mr. Bakhtiar claims that the Chairman sent him a number of messages with some of the most obscene language he had ever heard,
but claims that it was intended for him.

“I received a text message on my phone with a lot of swearing in it for Yaseen saab. Some of the words I had not even heard before and I grew up in the streets of Lahore.”

“After I recovered from the initial, well, shock I re-read the message and realised that Yaseen saab had accidentally sent it to me, whereas it was supposed to be for someone else. I found it odd that the chairman himself would be texting in such a manner
after the list to ban over 1000 words had been proposed earlier. So I played along to see how frequently he uses this language.”

Bakhtiar then explained that he replied to a number of his superior’s messages and found each one containing more foul language than the previous message.

“It was hard to believe, so I pressed on to make sure and I can conclude that this is not the first time Yaseen saab has used the same language during text messages.”

So I decided to come forward and expose the man for what he truly was. Mr. Bakhtiar presented his phone to the authorities with the ‘evidence’ against his boss and the case is now pending.

When asked what the most colourful term Mr. Yaseen used was, Bakhtiar replied, “there were many, some of which were not even on the list, but the biggest one was when he called the other person ‘Zardari’.”
