Sneaking around the issue may harm your productivity and will ultimate effect the organisation. The best way to deal with the issue is to face it from the front rather hiding behind it. The best way to have such an argument is, “You seem to dispute every
point I make, and I don’t understand. Did I do something to upset you?”
The culture we live in forces us to earn more and more money in order to meet the requirements of the fast moving world. Everybody wants more cash and more power but nobody is ready to take on more responsibilities.
Fear of handling the pressure and responsibility often leads one to the point where promotion in a career is not an issue any more. One thing is for certain as it was quoted by one of the famous Hollywood movies, “With great powers come great responsibilities”.
The quotation is self explanatory and one shall always opt himself for more and more responsibilities at the work place which will ultimately take him a step up on the growth ladder.
Your top priority at the work place should be the job you were hired to and not step on someone else’s toes. It is true that you should always present yourself but also be self assured that your help does not take any one else’s job away as it can put a
negative impact on your colleagues.
Another important and often ignored tip to succeed at your job is to keep yourself busy with a healthy social life. For most of us, our work line is not our life’s passion and hence it is important to pursue outside interests. Once we relax from the pressure
and stress our brain tends to work more efficiently which helps us finding solution of many a problems.
