Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, seeing your speech the other day certainly reminded me of the days Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was the PM. Even though I was not physically there at the time, seeing his videos and reading the speeches certainly boosted my confidence
and morale for being a citizen of this country.
Your speech was excellent at addressing the fact that civilians are the head of this country and not the army, which is something we still have to deal with in Pakistan while all other countries move forward in terms of state development.
I understand that the economic condition of the world is extremely harsh and vulnerable at the moment and you were handed the government at the worst possible time in Pakistan’s history but I understand that you have still managed to get it back on track
in some regards.
What some of the people fail to understand that democracy is like a flower and if not given proper time to blossom, it will die altogether. Pakistan is just like that flower, all the essential factors have been denied to it and its growth has stunted. What
we need at the moment is not a new driver for our car but rather a new engine.
There were some things you could have done better by making some tough decisions but I understand that there is a huge amount of pressure from different sources especially externally by the USA and internally by our own armed forces.
Prime Minister, it is the time to take a tough stance and make some decisions that might be hard in the star but will be fruitful in the long run. If you are able to do that, the people will surely stand behind you.
Like in the developed and civilised countries, the head of the intelligence of a country is always a civilian and the majority of employees working in the department are civilians, which create a balance between the military and the normal people.
A bill should be passed to do as such and complete auditing of the armed forces should be done in order to rid the undercover corruption which ranks in the billions.
The Supreme Court has also made some disappointing and illogical decisions against your government along with the opposition continuing to contest every single decision of yours.
The time has come to take a tough stance and show who the leader of the country and the commander-in-chief really are.

A real recipy to doom the PM is suggested by Mr Naeem Bokhari. For his information, every penny spend by the Army is audited by CIVIL auditors under AGP. I think before writing we must get some information about the topic we intend to spread our Pearls of Wisdom. If anybody think sharing National Security Secrets with the people involved in NICL, PIA, Railways, Hajj, Steel Mills, Rental Power etc within short span of 3 years is advisable, well only an alien can suggest it. Yes, if there is a government For the people and visibly demonstrative of peoples wish rather than personal gains, I am sure, national Army will voluntarily come two steps forward. I suggest Mr Zardari and Mr Gillani may stay away from Armed Forces and instead target Poverty, Power, gas,and inflation first.
