Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has said that he was not in favor of match fixing in the politics, saying that across the board accountability should be held of entire politicians, generals and judges.
“I will correct all the matters with the magic stick. Political parties are blaming PTI for joining hands with the establishment only due to the fear of their defeat. Those who do not have self confidence require match fixing. If my aim will be only coming
into power I need match fixing but my objective is to bring revolution in the country”, he added.
Khan stated that after deterioration of institutions change had become inevitable. He said that his party’s Karachi rally of 25th December will be a milestone in change of city’s history, and will usher in a big change in Pakistan.
He declared that this silent, surfacing revolution had scared wits out of many political stalwarts, who being a major group was trying to divide masses, pitting them against each other.
Replying to a question regarding recent Prime Minister’s remarks in the National Assembly, the PTI chairman declared the statement as highly volatile and irresponsible, which conveyed accusations on Pakistan Army for deliberate ‘harboring Osama-Bin-Laden
in Abbottabad’s safe environs’.
He said that the PM should not have given such statement, due to the fact that country had numerous enemies and saboteurs, who could take advantage of the situation.
Referring to rumors/possibilities of another martial law, Imran Khan said that army should not indulge in politics at all, while expressing his strong resolve that there would no military coup in the country.
Replying to another question regarding joining of party by PML-N’s Javed Hashmi, Imran Khan impressed his acumen as a cricketer, who realized that every ball was not playable, boasting that he would soon win another (political) wicket.
He also informed that he would be making a social announcement regarding Javed Hashmi in Saturday’s news conference, and while impressing his logic of allowing political ‘dissidents’, he said that these were politicians who never indulged in ‘traditional
politics’ .
Imran said that although he supported Musharraf in the beginning but always raised voice against the war against terrorism. The former President started terror war in 2004 and before that PTI withdrew its cooperation with Musharraf, he added.
