Makhdoom Javed Hashmi’s inclusion in PTI: An evidence of changing political spectrum

Saturday, December 24th, 2011 5:26:18 by

Today is the most auspicious day in the history of Pakistan. Those Pakistanis, who had got disappointed about the future of their country, should make merry after the revelation of the biggest evidence of rapidly changing political atmosphere. The senior
vice-president and mainstay of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, has formally joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the World Cup winning cricket captain Imran Khan’s political party which has been struggling hard for bringing a revolution in the
state since last decade.

Indeed, this is the greatest breakthrough ever happened in the green nation. A veteran politician has sacrificed his 43-year-old political career and a number of top ranks just for the sake of pushing forward the process of change. This is an explicit evidence
that the political sphere of Pakistan is changing rapidly. Prior to Hashmi, a big cog of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Shah Mahmood Qureshi, joined hands with Khan. Apart from these two big guns, some other renowned political pundits like Khursheed Mehmood
Kasuri and Mian Azhar Ali, have also moved to the PTI.

Now, Khan’s party has turned to be the third biggest political force in Pakistan after PPP and PML. The agenda of this party include eliminating the status quo, ensuring social justice, establishing rule of law, eradicating corruption and making Pakistan
a peaceful and prosperous society. The majority of the supporters of this party comes from the youth ranks where lies sheer frustration and anger against the current political and social set up of the country.

From today onwards, the patrimonial or hereditary politics will start waning and a new form of ideological system is to take place. This time, the politicians are changing loyalties for the sake of the national interest, but not for their personal designs.
This is a good sign.

On this forum, I would like to suggest that if Atizaz Ahsan from PPP and Mushahid Hussain from PML (Q) change their respective parties, the PTI will surely turn into an invincible force. May God Almighty gives insight to the duo to spend rest of their lives
for a good cause.

Tomorrow, on December 25, Khan is going to replicate the Lahore-like big show in Karachi. It is hoped that this public meeting will give courage to struggle openly to those who are still unable to determine the truth.

In the end, I challenge to the PTI opponents to come up with some other suitable option except Khan to change the current oppressive system—–but please do it with strong evidences and logic.
