Hundreds of thousands expected at North Korean Leader Kim Jong-il’s funeral

Hundreds of thousands of North Koreans are expected to attend their dear leader Kim Jong-il’s funeral on Wednesday, who died last week suffering a heart-attack.

As the North Korean supreme commander and father figure of their nation Kim Jong-il died, the country also experienced a huge shock when speculations started to roam around as who will head the country from
now onwards.

The Korean state media is yet to declare all kinds of details regarding their beloved leader’s funeral but inside sources have speculated that the military regime will show the world as one untied North Korea
by displaying a military strength on 28th December.

Ahn Chan-il of the World Institute for North Korea Studies in South Korea said for funeral day.    

“A display of weapons may also be a way to demonstrate that the military remains loyal to the succession process, There may even be a small-scale military parade involving airplanes.”                                              

This very funeral also gives Kim Jong-un, who is Kim Jong-il’s successor and his youngest son, an opening to intensify his credentials as next leader.

The recently named “Supreme Commander”, who will take the rudder of the nuclear-armed communist country while merely in his late 20s, also will play a brief political responsibility by meeting a collection
of well-known South Koreans who have relations with the North.
