Jahangir’s comes back with “Hawa Hawaii” in 4084

With a host full of Pakistani songs being included in the movies across the border, it’s no surprise to know an upcoming Bollywood flick “4084” having a soundtrack, which is an altered version of Hasan Jahangir’s song “Hawa Hawaii”.

The song mesmerized millions of audience on television and listeners on radio back in the 80’s, when it was first launched by one of the most talented Pakistani artist, Hasan Jahangir.

Jahangir, a renowned Pakistani musician, started his musical career with his solo “Imran Khan is a superman” and then went on to release his biggest album “Hawa Hawa”. If speculations are to believed he managed to sell 15 million copies of that album in
India.

However it was later figured out by the musicians that the tune was a rip-off of an Iranian song sung by Kourosh Yaghmaei.

Reports in India suggest that Jahangir has just returned from Bombay and hoping for a good audience response.

“I am glad that finally ‘Hawa Hawa’ is going to Bollywood and that too in a film that has an unorthodox story and legendary star cast,” ” Jahangir was quoted as saying.

He added: “I don’t want to blow my own trumpet but by the grace of God things have worked out well up till now. Things have always worked in my favour and will hopefully continue to do so. As far as my age is concerned, like all the artists in the world,
I’m still 28 at heart and love making music.”

Jahangir revealed that he is ready to hit the floor again and shrugged of the rumours of his exit from the musical industry due to his growing age. The promising and talented singer proved his love for music after releasing “Dol Dol”, a song that follows
a Bengali tune, earlier this year.

4084 is a comedy of four stupid cops starring Naseer udin shah, Atul Kulkarni, Ravi Kishan and Kay Menon and expected to release next month. It’s plot follows cop’s mission to execute a funny plan but they face different challenges and surprises on their
way to succeed the mission.
