Don 2 is a 2011 Indian crime thriller which is starring the King Khan, Shahrukh Khan and the desi girl, Priyanka Chopra. The film was released on December 23^rd, 2011 and it is directed and produced by Farhan Akhtar.
Lara Dutta, Om Puri and Kunal Kapoor are also featuring in this blockbuster.

The 75 crore budgeted movie centres on Don (Shahrukh Khan) who after dominating the Asian underworld, has his sights set on Europeon domination. In his way are the bosses of the existing European underworld and all law enforcement
agencies. The action shifts from Kuala Lumpur to Berlin as Don must avoid assassination or arrest, whichever comes first, in order for his plan to succeed.

The film has grossed 56.56 crore in four days and opened with an average of 80 percent occupancy levels all over India. On the first day the film collected 13.85 crore from Hindi version and an estimated 60-70 lakh nett from the
Tamil and Telugu versions respectively.

Overseas, Don 2 created several records on opening day. The film grossed $550,000 from 164 theatres in the United States and beat My Name is Khan which opened to $445,000 from 164 theatres in the United States. In the United Kingdom,
the film debuted in the top ten and collected $527,000 in three days from 76 theatres.

The film received positive to mixed reviews from critics in India and mostly positive reviews from critics worldwide.

Nihat Kazmi of The Times of India gave the film 4 out of 5 stars and declared, "Don 2 is a classic action/crime thriller that doesn’t let go, even for a moment."

Suparna Sharma from The Asian Age gave the film 3 out of 5 stars and said, "Don 2 is smart, urbane, grey and good looking. It is also entertaining, even impressive…Though [film]’s story is borrowed from here and there,
its tail end is clever and skewed towards creating a wicked but cool legend."

Komal Nahta gave the movie 3.5 out of 5 stars and said that, "Don 2 is a winner all the way."

Don 2 is a must watch for all genre and its one of the best movies of 2011.
