Katrina Kaif says ‘Chikni Chameli’ was a challenge for her

Bollywood’s diva, Katrina Kaif, who was voted the sexiest Asian woman in the world by Eastern Eye in the years 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, has revealed that her new item song ‘Chikni Chameli’ was a challenge
for her.

‘Chikni Chameli’, which is going to appear in the remake of the 1970’s film ‘Agneepath’, has been admired many out there as a result to which the song has received over 3 million views on YouTube. However,
the 27-year-old British Indian actress and former model told the media it was pretty difficult for her to execute the dance moves in the song, as she stated she is not used to this sort of a dance.

“The response to Chikni Chameli has been fun so far. It was hard work. It was very fast and it was not a style I was used to, but I took it as a challenge.”

Nevertheless, Katrina Kaif disclosed that she is pretty happy with her all of her projects which she has accomplished in 2011.

“2011 has been a really great year for me. All the goals I had in hand, I think everything turned out really well. I am very grateful for that…The best I could have wanted to come out of every project
has come true this year,” Katrina added.

Meanwhile, Katrina was asked about her relationship with Salman Khan, her ex-boyfriend. Both stars were quite close to each other but now it’s been a while since they have separated. Katrina was told that
Salman has admired her performance in ‘Chikni Chameli’ a lot.

Katrina remarked: “He has not told that to me but I think that’s a great thing. He has a great taste in music and songs. So, if he likes it then it’s great.” 

A Bollywood source has recently claimed that Katrina has plans to spend the New Year’s Eve in Dubai with Salman Khan and his family, which indicates that perhaps she is getting close to Salman once again.

Yet nothing can be said for sure, as it could also be just a friendly holiday.
