Mainstream leader of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI), Javed Hashmi has said that the party has made a scrutiny committee to make sure that the corrupt politicians do not enter PTI and expressed that he has complete trust on the commitment of Imran Khan.
Hashmi is without doubt one of the most respected politicians of the country and his sacrifices for democracy are immense. The veteran politician recently joined PTI after getting disheartened by the behavior of the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (N)
towards him.
Some of the political analysts in the country allege that PTI is full of politicians who supported Musharaf during the previous decade, but Hashmi feels that this criticism is unjustified because even PML (N) had their doors open for all the politicians
apart from Chaudhry brothers.
He feels that the politicians should not blame each other for the sake of criticism and believes that there should be a positive argument. Pakistan is facing a torrid time at the moment and the seasoned politician urged the opposition parties to unite against
the corrupt rule of Asif Zardari and Yousuf Raza Gillani.
Hashmi said, “We have to end this blame game because it will never promote democracy in Pakistan. Our basic aim should be cleansing of politics in Pakistan.”
Hashmi has set a new precedence in the politics of the country as he did not criticize his former party and still has positive things to say about his previous leaders.
“I will never forget Nawaz Sharif’s righteous stand for democracy in the country”, he expressed.
The inclusion of Hashmi in PTI has surely boosted the credibility of Imran Khan and his party, which is fast becoming the most popular political party in the country. Some of the political analysts feel that this is Imran’s biggest political achievement
in politics till date.
Since last four decades, Pakistan has had only two major political forces in shape of PML and Pakistan Peoples Party but since the massive public meeting of PTI in Lahore on the 30th of October, 2011, it has surely become the third major political
force in the country. Let us hope that it turns out to be a positive development for the country in future.
