In a recent interview given to the The Nation, the leader of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Imran Khan talked about the main issues that are plaguing the country presently and claimed that he aims to create such a change under his leadership that the country
is transformed into a Islamic social welfare state.
Having said that, the leader of the PTI also added that the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah also aimed to make Pakistan the same sort of nation and one that is free of any form of corruption.
The recent success that Imran Khan has had while conducting his rallies in Lahore as well as Karachi has attracted large groups of people who want to join the PTI. The rally conducted in Lahore and more recently in Karachi overwhelmed the political parties
and other observers in the country because of the unexpectedly larger number of crowds that it attracted.
Commenting on the people that have recently joined his party because of the success that Imran Khan has seen, the leader of the PTI made the following statements:“Everyone who has joined our party has adopted our programme. First we were accused that we
do not have a team. Now that there is a team building up, some people have started to question it. This is just propaganda because other failed parties have nothing else to say. Mian Azhar, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Khursheed Kasuri, Sardar Assef Ahmed Ali and
Javed Hashmi are people of high integrity and experience. They are an asset to our party and will help further strengthening party base across the country.”
Imran Khan had previously challenged all members of the political parties to declare their assets in order to prove to the people of the country that they are not involved in corruption. However, the leader of the PTI had himself been under fire to present
to the people of Pakistan the assets of those members who have recently joined the PTI. However, Imran Khan has been vigorously defending his new party members against all charges and has assured the people of Pakistan of no involvement in corruption.
