Fresh North Korean commander-in-chief Kim Jong-Un threatens ‘roar of revenge’ against South Korean president
Monday, January 2nd, 2012 5:14:38 by Umair HassanSouth Korean President Lee Myung Bak has said in New Year messages as they will focus on inter-Korean relations in order to keep them secure from North’s aggression.
Those messages were enough to provoke North Korea’s new commander-in-chief Kim Jong-Un to issue a statement replying South and their President with more bitter words.
The North Korean National Defense Commission said in a statement that, “The veritable sea of tears shed by the army and people of the DPRK will turn into that of retaliatory fire to burn all the group of traitors to the last one. The DPRK will have no dealings
with the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors forever.”
North Korea’s top policy makers have also sent a new year’s message to its people to rally behind their new commander in chief Kim Jong-Un by becoming a “human shield”.
A joint editorial carried by the North’s state KCNA news agency said that, “Kim Jong-un, the supreme leader of our Party and our people, is the banner of victory and glory of Songun Korea and the eternal centre of its unity. The dear respected Kim Jong-un
is precisely the great Kim Jong-il. The whole Party, the entire army and all the people should possess a firm conviction that they will become human bulwarks and human shields in defending Kim Jong-un unto death.”
North Korea has appointed Kim Jong-Un their new supreme leader on Thursday after the death of their beloved ruler Kim Jong-il.
In a troubled region, now is the time for both Kim Jong-Un and Lee form their approach in the direction of engagement with more constructiveness. However, new North’s leader Kim Jong-Un should be cementing his grip on power in a country where the UN says
one in three children are physically stunted from a lack of nutrition.
