A perfect cure for depression with music melodies – Music

In the light of a vague survey, most of the people these days have different types of depressions. There is a lot going on in the country, which has made people to lose their sleep at night. Depression and Insomnia (the habit of sleeplessness) have become
common trends in the society. In order to fight all the stress and strain, music is the great escape. You should listen to some soothing music, which can take you away from the chores of life …at least for a short period of time.

Quite recently, a British musical band and a group of scientists collaborated and worked on the project of producing ‘the most relaxing tune’ in the history of man. Reportedly, the Manchester, UK-based band Marconi Union and a team of sound therapists compiled
a song, which is believed to be effective at helping people to relax. As an early experiment, the scientists played the song to some 40 women and discovered that the melody is way more soothing than the usual stuff is played on the radio or the other modern
gadgets that people have.

The song is titled “Weightless” and it can be listened to via this

The song is composed of different specific rhythms, tones, frequencies and intervals, which put a magical effect on the listener. Basically, it is a continuous rhythm of 60 BPM that causes the brainwaves and heart rate to synchronise with the rhythm: a process
known as ‘entrainment’. Low underlying bass tones relax the listener and a low whooshing sound with a trance-like quality takes the listener into an even deeper state of calm.

Commenting on the song, one of the UK’s leading stress specialists Dr David Lewis said: “‘Weightless’ induced the greatest relaxation – higher than any of the other music tested. Brain imaging studies have shown that music works at a very deep level within
the brain, stimulating not only those regions responsible for processing sound but also ones associated with emotions."

So if you have a bad day or have any kind of disturbia going in your head, this song can help to sooth your mind. Give it a try…
