On another occasion, the minister remarked, “If Google and Youtube do not help the Pakistan government, then Pakistan reserves the right to block these services to prevent terrorists from using it”.

He was interacting with media at the FIA Headquarters, advising the internet providers to increase their assistance to the incumbent government for countering the bid of militancy.

Dr. Rehman Malik while speaking to the media stated, “Extortionists should quit extorting and leave the city”. His mouth uttered this golden-pearl when he was addressing a meeting at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce.

He released a warning to target killers and extortionists asking them to quit the city otherwise severe action will be taken against them. I am sure they were scared and would have left the city.

Media quoted another his statement as follow, “All ground intelligence shows that Ilyas Kashmiri is dead. What I can say is that there is a 98 % chance he is dead”. He observed these remarks while commenting on the alleged killing of Ilyas Kashmiri, in a
US drone attack.

He went on to say that he had not any physical proof but he was sure that the Al-Qaeda leader was killed in the American spy-attack. Should we make a list of his other attributes to prove the above mentioned statement?

In order to prove him sharp and to portray him a better handler of the security issues, Rehman (Baba) does not miss any opportunity.

While showing his artistic skills, he commented after the Mehran base attack saying, “They were wearing black clothes like in Star Wars movies, (one) with (a) suicide vest. They had small beards and two of them were between 20-22 years old while the
third who blew himself up was about 25.”

In an unparallel move, our dear Rehman Malik bobbed up with another strange resemblance, comparing militant outfits to the characters of Star Wars. He was into action flicks and objects.
