Moreover the curved Gorilla Glass gives a more elegant look to the phone although it does not have much of the utility, is gives the lacking premium feel to it.

On the left side is a volume rocker with the silent mode programmed into the low button when pressed and held. There is nothing on the top but the right side has a power/stand-by button. The bottom has a micro-USB port for charging and syncing and a microphone pore.

The most amazing thing of the Nexus is that that there is not button accompanying the screen as are found on almost every handset in the market. The software has its own three buttons, home, back and multitasking but they vanish when an application is launched
that utilizes the whole screen. The lack of capacitive buttons might be a way forward to technological advancement but the lack of them in many applications might make up quite some hassle. But new applications intended for the Nexus or ICS will surely incorporate this new feature.

The software, as mentioned earlier, is the latest creation of Google that has only been incorporated by Galaxy Nexus. The Ice Cream Sandwich is by far the best mobile operating system developed by Google. There is not much stutter or lag observed in operating the phone and going through the menus. Moreover the browser is more improved and the zooming in and out is made flawless.

There is however, a learning curve that the Gingerbread and Honeycomb user will have to go through as the placement of menus and the overall structure has been changed massively. However, that is a compliment on Google’s credit for making a software that gives a finished look to the phone on stock settings.

Moreover, the colour scheme in the Android is very elegant and does not have the outlook of a cheap theme downloaded from a freeware website.
