The controversial queen of Pakistan, Veena Malik, has passed on a flattering statement in which the actress said she can even go nude for Hollywood.
The Pakistani actress, model and comedienne, Veena Malik, who is currently in India to participate in the upcoming film ‘Zindagi 50-50’, told the media that she is an entertainer and therefore she will not mind fulfilling the Hollywood demands. She remarked she would have to work according to the Hollywood culture, even if it means going nude.
“In Pakistan I work within the culture and in India or Bollywood I do the same,” Gulf News quoted her as saying.
“When I’m in Hollywood I would do what is expected of me within their industry. I’m an entertainer after all,” she said.
Veena Malik from Rawalpindi, Pakistan is one of the most controversial celebrities at present. She has always made headlines with her cheap stunts.
Malik not too long ago did a ‘nude’ photo shoot for the FHM magazine, which caused a huge storm in Pakistan with many people expressing their outrage over it. Later on she disappeared for two days in India without telling anyone, which once again created a buzz in the media and now she has said that she can even strip for Hollywood.
Apart from the above mentioned things, Malik also remained in the middle of a controversy in Pakistan due to her affair with the Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Asif, who is currently in a UK’s jail for match-fixing. Before Asif, Veena had a close relationship with a Pakistani actor Babrak Shah as well. However, despite all these facts, Malik still believes she is going find someone to marry.
“I really believe in love and marriage. I’m a real romantic and I want to be a wife some day but it has to be with the right person,” she said.
“I know someone will come along eventually. I believe that if you look for something you will eventually find it,” she added.
Let’s hope Veena Malik doesn’t do anything like this because it will certainly put the people of Pakistan on fire, as it’s a huge embarrassment for an Islamic country like Pakistan.

You are no God to judge her. if she is going against religion, let God judge her.
Pakistan should be embarrassed of many other issues rather than of Veena Malik. She is a celebrity, its her life. She is in no way representing Pakistan officially and Pakistan should not implicate its views/rules and opinions on her. People here should be embarrassed of in-house issues like honor killing, fanaticism, extremism, religious intolerance, poverty, politicians and much more. Please don’t take out your frustrations on a celebrity.
.
@author: Being a journalist, you should present facts, not an opinion, which you did in the last paragraph.
Many people are going to hate this comment, but look at the bigger picture. She is not hypocritical. She accepts who she is. And people who point a finger at her are people who do things behind closed doors. Are you in any way better than her? Don’t follow instant instinct. Do some indepth thinking.
Why is the media so curious writing about such a characterless, shameless so called entertainer, let her do what she wants to do. She is not in Pakistan and she probably wouldn’t be coming in the near future, so until then, I think the best strategy is to ignore her rather than making her headlines news. Thats exactly what she wants, to be in the news. Let her be and worry about the rest of Pakistan.

Seriously now, where and when did the author JUDGED her? he’s just ‘praying’ she doesn’t embarras our nation any more than she already did with her stupid cheap publicity stunts. AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION, an artist, a celebrity, is a celebrity because HE or SHE is public property. Their lives, their relationships, and their affairs are NOT personal. Take an example of any international celebrity! why do u want the rules to change for a ‘muslim’ & ‘pakistani’ girl???
And as far as being ‘who she is’ … well sadly enough, she landed into a Pakistani MUSLIM family. There are certain boundaries, which we have to adhere to in anyway!
@A.Saim
Why don’t you just step out your door and see how people are crossing their boundaries? Celebrities are not public property … they are human beings with lives. Your mere comment shows how narrow and robotic you have become. Excuse me, but the way you are talking shows you no better than Veena Malik. Being a celebrity is a job like any other and that doesn’t make them public property. Seriously. grow up.
And here I wasn’t the one comparing Muslim or Pakistani…I didnt use the word “Muslim” in my first comment. Please don’t put your words in another person’s mouth. I talked of Veena as a person, not as the representative of Islam. Please mind your words before you let them out. As for international celebrities, I’m sure people love looking at nude pictures of Kareena Kapoor, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton etc, without commenting on morality. Why? Because they are not Muslims? This here is not about Muslim or not Muslim. It’s about a PERSON. and the over hype media + the overhype people of Pakistan. Period.
@Ferra Koko
Well, m not sure what sort of utopia you been living in. We live in a society, where our lives are governed by religious, societal laws and ethics. I guess this comment of yours about celebrities not being public property shows a lack of exposure on your part, not mine! Befor you ask me to grow-up, you should learn to gracefully take the criticism. You are the one all confused and panicked, all flared up just because you could not handle a comment (just like the one you supported!)
About comparison of Muslims and Pakistanis? well HULLO? Can i use my own words and opinion? OR I can only comment or discuss on what you write? Take a deep breath! 🙂
I don’t normally comment on those sites, but the article here deliberately lies about Veena Maliks statements.
It’s different here with a totally different meaning:
http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-01-11/news/30617918_1_nude-photos-cover-controversy-reality
“I would never strip for any industry,” she said, according to Emirates247.com. “I’m an actress and everyone in this industry is doing what the role requires, I will act according to my role needed but this doesn’t mean I forget my values.”
The article above deliberately takes the “i will act according to my role needed” out of context to accuse her of stripping, while she was actually saying the exact opposite. What a smear campaign that is…
“Mardas… No one has excluded anything but you have picked up the lines from the article that was published afterwards? I also wrote an article in which she said she didn’t mean it and will never strip, it also lies on this site.. But this article was published before and she also said it in an interview.. I remember very well when while researching I went through that video … Please research a bit more, as you are referring to a story which came in response to the previous one… Thx for the feedback though … Take care
