Quetta: (Tuesday, January 10, 2012) Provincial president of the PML-N Sardar Sanaullah Zehri has been tasked by the party high ups to reorganize the party in the province on war footings as the general elections were around the
corner.
The rigorous campaign to restructure and reorganize the party that was eaten up by PML-Q and other parties in Musharraf and Zardari regime was started with senior provincial leader of N-League Shakoor Norzai expressing his confidence
in the leadership of Sardar Sanaullah.
Addressing a press conference on the occasion, accompanied by other prominent leaders including Mirwais Baloch, Hamayun Khan and others said that Sardar Sanaullah Baloch was a senior politician and respected among the tribal leaders.
For being widely respected throughout the province, he could reorganize the party in the province.
Referring to the protest staged by party workers during election process, Norzai said that difference of opinion was the beauty of democracy. However, he hoped for the reorganization of the party through a reconciliation campaign
to win over the angry party workers under the leadership of Sardar Zehri.
Balochistan has long been cut off from the political and social circles of the country, and is presently ruled by either military establishment or by the nationalist movement leaders. In such a scenario, an attempt by the PML-N
to bring the province back to the political streamline of the country deserves huge applause.
Nevertheless, like in the past, it must not be a political stunt aimed at conning precious votes of the province dwellers. Amid indiscriminate atrocities committed by the military establishment, Balochistan has reached to the brink
of separation, and unless effective and ample steps are taken to address its vows, there little chances of keeping the province as a part of Pakistan any longer.
