Former Australian leg-spinner, Stuart MacGill is disappointed with India’s poor performance so far on the tour Down Under, and urged the tourists to show some fight in the remaining two matches.

Team India is yet to exhibit anything special on the ongoing tour to Australia. After suffering a humiliating 122-run defeat in the opening Test at Melbourne, the Men in Blue faced a terrible loss by an innings and 68 runs at Sydney.

There are still a couple of Tests left in the series, and the Indians will have to win both matches in order to square the series. Apart from Sachin Tendulkar who has scored 226 runs so far on the trip, the heavy weight Indian batsmen are struggling terribly.
India have a strong crew, and MacGill has urged the visitors to show some pride in the rest of the series.

"We have bowled very well but I am very disappointed that India collapse very quickly.  I think whether it is the middle order or tail you need to have some pride," MacGill told ‘News Limited Newspapers’.

The third game of the four-match series is set to be played at Perth, where a bouncy track is waiting for the visiting side. Since the Indian willow-wielders are struggling against the pacers, a lot of cricket gurus suggesting the home side to go with four
specialist seam bowlers in the next game.

In that case, Nathan Lyon, the only spinner in the side, will be dropped out of the side despite his excellent work over the past few months.

The former spinner is also in favour of playing with four quicks, saying that the Kangaroos should make the best use of the conditions.

"I am reluctant to speak badly of Nathan Lyon as I think he has a great temperament and future. However if Nathan is in the side and isn’t bowling much and the conditions don’t suit him I don’t think you are doing him any favours by keeping him in. Nathan
has been quite an important part of that Australian side but people get hung up about being dropped,” added the 40-year-old former spinner.
