Mehak Chahal gets engaged to Danish Khan – Rakhi Sawant upset

The Indian controversial queen Rakhi Sawant, who is famously known for having a loud mouth, is a bit upset with Mahek Chahal’s engagement, as she thinks her getting married so soon will affect her career.

Bigg Boss 5 grand finale was held last Saturday on January 7 in the Karjat studio. Almost all contestants performed on the stage except Pooja Bedi because she was not invited on the finale for accusing Bigg Boss and Salman Khan. However, everyone was left flabbergasted when Danish Khan, who is Chahal’s long-time boyfriend, came up on the stage and proposed Mahek in front of millions of people.

Though Mahek stated it as one of the most beautiful moments of her life, Rakhi feels this is not the right time for Mahek to get into these things.

Rakhi said, “I was very sad to see her getting engaged (to Danish Khan). It just happened on the sets and I was so shocked. Why does she want to get married now? Her career has got a fine start… Abhi toh career ban rahi thi! See, the programme gave her so much of hype. This is the time she should be working. This is her chance. She should forget about marriage. Shaadi toh phir bhi ho jati hai.”

The 32-year-old Bollywood actress and a Norwegian model, Mahek Chahal, participated in the fifth season of the Bigg Boss reality show and with her gentle behaviour she won the hearts of many out there. However, on the big day it was the KumKum star, Juhi Parmar, who appeared on top and Mahek was announced as the first runner-up.

This news has also not gone well with Rakhi since she wanted to see Mahek as the winner.

“Main khush bhi hoon aur sad bhi. Juhi is a friend, I am happy that she won. Par main Mahek (Chahal) ke liye bahut zyada sad hoon. She was my favourite contestant.”

It is fair to say that Mahek Chahal now has an army of fans in India and her stint in the Bigg Boss 5 house has certainly helped her a lot.
