Hats off to PTA for taking action against immoral sites

I may be proud of Pakistan because of a number of things that it has done and offered in the past, but one of the most recent reasons that made the country my pride was the banning of all immoral sites.
The measures taken by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) have surely not gone down well with the youth of the country, who feel that they have been deprived of what they had begun to consider their oxygen. According to them, PTA should shift their
focus to prohibit the viewing of content that induce hatred and promote violence rather than conduct an operation against something that is nothing more than a form of harmless art.
Many people are defending the indecent content present on the internet by saying that it is the best alternative for the people who do not have resources to get married. Rather than turning towards crime, they simply resort to a seemingly safe substitute.
The protest against the action taken by the PTA to restrict access to immoral sites is primarily headed by the men of the country. They feel that they have suffered a huge loss from the action taken against the sites.
While they are condemning PTA for banning inappropriate sites in the country on one hand, they are busy finding alternative ways to access those sites. A day hardly goes by without a bunch of males standing together and discussing how and where to get access
to some dirty site. Some of them are going around begging others to share their downloaded stash with them, while others are reverting to their traditional source of dirt, DVDs.
It is indeed depressing to see the state that the morals of Pakistani men are in today. Rather than harbouring respect and love for their religion, as well as the women of their country, men are without any doubt acting like dogs with seemingly no objective
but to waste the precious years of their life watching dirt on the internet or on their television sets. If they are not busy viewing inappropriate stuff, they are busy talking about it in schools, universities and offices.
While it is surprising to see PTA wait so long to take the necessary action the immoral sites on internet, one cannot help feeling proud of them for finally doing the right thing and doing its bit for the safeguard of morals in the society.

Good to know this.
Well, its a good thing, but the author has lost his mind while referring men as dogs. the other thing is that PTA need more sophistication to fully control it. In other countries these kind of restriction are mostly violated by children therefore PTA need more dedication to do it better.
why not ban the mujra culture and CD/DVD hubs before banning internet…
they are blocking non porn sites as well
last.fm
downloadmanager.com

Wake up paksitan before its sent back to stoneage
