Lahore: (Saturday, January 21, 2012) Governor Punjab Sardar Lateef Khosa said today that although some “friends” wanted the government to be dislodged, their feet were less likely to leave the ground and the senate elections were
expected to be held on time.
Speaking here at a national conference on physical disability, Lateef Khosa said that all the institutions were operating in their domain.
Responding to a question about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan’s demand for politicians to bring their assets to back to the country, Khosa said that the cricketer turned politician should first bring his children
home.
Commenting on the recent incident in which 27 people died in a hospital of Lahore for using outdated medicines, Governor Punjab said that an inquiry in the matter was ordered and that those responsible for the matter will be taken
to task.
