Islamabad: (Monday, January 23, 2012) A Pakistani contingent, led by Federal Minister for Petroleum Dr. Asim Hussain has reached India to hold dialogues with Indian authorities with regard to transit fee and security matters for
Turkmenistan Gas Pipeline Project.
According to the well placed sources at Ministry of Petroleum, the negotiations will take place in New Delhi on tomorrow, January 24.
The said delegation, with Indian counterparts, will take up matters relating to security, transit fee and other technicalities with regard to the Gas pipeline project from Turkmenistan.
Besides the entire delegation, the Petroleum Minister of Pakistan will also hold a one-on-one meeting with his Indian counterpart.
When implemented, Pakistan will be able to have 1.30 billion cubic feet gas per day from Turkmenistan.
