Seal insists he is still friends with Heidi Klum

The British singer has insisted that he and Heidi Klum will remain friends even after the split. The artist confirmed the news of the separation in an interview to The Tavis Smiley Show on Monday night and added that he still loves
his wife.
The couple announced their split last week after irreconcilable differences and being together for seven years. There have also been reports that Heidi Klum has already filed for divorce after the separation but the singer brushed
off these rumours.
Seal claimed that there is no negativity between him and Heidi and they do not intend to cut off any soon. He admitted that things will not remain the same as there have been differences between the two but remaining friends will
be the best option.
“We’re just not those kind of people – we never really have been. We’ve never been attracted to [negativity]. Of course it’s a difficult situation that we have to handle right now and it’s never easy. In terms of our love and respect
for each other, that hasn’t changed at all,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The 48-year old singer from England added that he still has immense respect for Heidi Klum and they still share a friendly bond with each other.
“Just because you decide to separate, I don’t think you all of [a] sudden stop loving each other. I don’t think you all of [a] sudden stop becoming friends,” he concluded.
Seal and Heidi Klum were married in 2005 in Mexico and have three children together. The singer has thus far recorded eight studio albums and has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide.
