To the Point – DG ISI Shuja Pasha does it again, This Time Acting as Pervez Musharraf’s Advisor
According to latest reports, it was Director General of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) agency, Lt. General Shuja Pasha, who advised former Pakistani President and Chief of Army Staff, Pervez Musharraf, not to return to Pakistan due to the situation
not being favourable for him at the moment.
A source, on the condition of anonymity, told DawnNews that “General Pasha, who has remained very close to the former president, held a meeting with him (Musharraf) in Dubai and advised him not to return to the country as the situation is not conducive for
his return.”
The surprising part is, if this report has any fact to it at all, it would certainly be disappointing in a sense that despite the entire nation wanting Musharraf’s head along with the Senate now also pressing the government to open up cases against him,
the DG ISI is playing his own games at his own free will.
One thing I am sure of is that he did not do that in accordance with any government directives, making the situation even more mysterious and strange.
The sad part of the story is that we in Pakistan; are still stuck in the same phase of who has total control in this country. It still remains to be a tug-of-war between the elected civilian governments and the armed forces, which puts us back many decades
to the point of when the first army takeover took place.
Even though the army has not formally taken over the country in order to save their images from facing the huge problems being faced by Pakistan today, they are clearly still running things behind the door as to forcing their supreme commanders to apologise
and bow down before the subordinates.
Why the civilian government did not sack Pasha and Kiyani after the Osama Bin Laden raid in Abbotabad by the Americans is something that still is not clear in the heads of many people, but now when reports emerge of Pasha’s meeting with an on-the-run fugitive
gives even more reason to do the deed in favour of this nation that yearns to move forward.
While the media shouts foul at every political action taking place around the country, the men with guns in their secured and sealed off barracks in the posh areas of every city, sit nicely together while having a cup of tea and laughing at every moment
of it.

This man needs to be HANGED just so the future of Pakistan can be brighter one day. His tenure that lasted just two months shy of his tenth anniversary of being presented the most powerful seat in our country and look what he has done to us. one would have expected better results than what we got with Q league n billions of dollors of lost aid??? The only investment that was done by him and his cronies was in sector of state controlled terrorism to keep thier seats and the flow of money comming or else how does one explain the Pakistani taliban swapping our capital is was just a show and now even after hes gone thanks to america who finally decided he was not in their intrest anymore either he has left his cronies in place who are stil today sitting and watching my beloved country being eroded away with the filth he and his past so called pakistan loving generals have caused us to live with. LONG LIVE PAKISTAN ( may one day the people of my land be enlighted enough to see that they cheer the same 3 parties(army,pml n, ppp p) who have been playing us all with a game off divide and rule within our country for as long as i can see back- the root cause was a dictator who was in love with the doller and yes i am pointing to the one eyed bastard who killed a aspiring nation with his choices of friends who either dont care about us or just wont leave us alone when they want to stay in that region. it is my concreate believe that none of these generals or party leaders have any idea what needs to be done to get this nation moving in the right direction again) And May ALLAH swt bless the writer of this article we need more people in pakistan who can think outside the box and have the guts to say it in public living in pakistan so bravo to you my freind.
