Indians facing another stiff test as Adelaide pressure mounts

The Indian team are about to complete first part of their Australian tour as they will go into the third day tomorrow with the Aussies already leading by a huge 382 runs. The Kangaroos have seven wickets remaining their bag and are certain to exploit the
Indian bowling during early hours of Friday before declaring the or possibly getting bundled out cheaply for the first and the last time in the four-match test series.

Australia will resume their second innings with the score at 50/3 and Michael Clarke and Ricky Ponting at the crease. The Aussies have undoubtedly toyed with the inexperienced Indian attack and the same expression can be used for Indian batting who have
lacked flare in spite of having the likes of Virendar Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Sachin Tendulkar. Apart from the emerging and talented Virat Kohli, no one has stepped up for the country and as a result find themselves in all sorts
of trouble.

The Indians are on the verge of going down by a massive 4-0 margin in the series which will account for their second successive whitewash after being scuffed up by England during by the same margin on their last away tour. The question is that will the Indian
team be able to avoid defeat in this last test match and the whitewash which will definitely bring the careers of majority of senior players under scrutiny.

It is assumed that the Aussies will play one more hour after the post-lunch session before asking India to get a possible of 500 runs to win the test match. Keeping the Indian team’s current performances in mind, the Men in Blue will hardly go for the target
and their priority would be to claim a draw out of this test match and avoid another embarrassing defeat.

Will Sehwag’s men be up for the challenge for the one final time or the Indians have already given up this test match too in order to focus on the upcoming T20’s and ODI tri-series which also involves Srilanka.
