National Junior Snooker Champion Hunain Aamir believes snooker should be added in syllabus

He ousted his opponent from Faisalabad by the score line of 5-2.
The 15-year-old dominated the game easily and claimed his first title victory which means a lot to him. The youngster is eying to play like his inspiration, the former three-time World Snooker Champion and proclaimed to be the most naturally talented potter ever, Ronnie O’Sullivan.
In his recent interview to TheNation, the young potter said that snooker, as a subject, should be added into the syllabus in colleges and schools so that the country can produce world class snooker players. Aamir, a 9th class student at the Educators School System in Sialkot, has high aims in his life and want to become a superb cueman.
Speaking to TheNation, the teenager said, “I started playing snooker when I was studying in class five and my father Doctor Aamir, who was himself a national ranking snooker player, is my coach and am grateful to him for helping me in achieving my goals in studies and improving my game.”
He added, “I owe all this to my father where I am standing today, and am sure with his help and support, I will become a national snooker champion soon.”
The champ had skipped the recently finished 2012 Punjab Junior Snooker Cup in Rawalpindi because of his illness. However, he got the chance to prove his snooker skills when the snooker governing body of Pakistan, Pakistan Billiard and Snooker Association (PBSA) appreciated his previous achievements and awarded him a wild card entry in the National Junior Under-21 Snooker Championship.
He played impressively as expected and claimed the title. His highest break during the tournament was of 98 points against Akash Rahim of KP in the semi-final. At the conclusion of the championship, Aamir pocketed a prize money of Rs.40,000 along with a glittering trophy by the chief guest, Mahboob Pervez.
