iPhone 5 rumoured to have bigger screen and 4G capability – Part 2
Friday, January 27th, 2012 12:47:26 by Usman KhalidIn addition to gossips related to the screen, there has been a buzz created around the device regarding its specifications. These rumours actually root out from the demands the users have for the next device that hits the shelves.
As the market is overpopulated with 4G-LTE smartphones, the iPhone still has the older 3G technology and that keeps the phone at back-foot. Rumour has it that the company is seriously considering the possibility of shipping the new iPhone with LTE capabilities.
It seems that Apple is at war with Adobe. There is not a single iOS device that has embraced Adobe Flash. HTML 5.0 works wonderfully but still there are websites that have Flash-embedded content. There is no rumour related to this issue but customers have pleaded to Apple on several forums for the addition of Flash plug-ins into the iOS devices.
The iOS devices are fixed with the embedded storage devices and there is not room for external storage devices like micro-SD cards. The Android devices have accepted the importance of external memory and there are many devices in the market that have extra slots for external memory sticks.
The sales of iPhone 4S took a big blow by the battery problem it faced shortly after its release in October. The battery wouldn’t last for even a single day, whereas the company claimed multiple days of stand-by and talk-time. Although Apple released the iOS 5.0.1 release to cater to the bug in the operating system, the market is still vulnerable to the charge duration.
Keeping all things considered, the new iPhone 5 might be completely reshaped but do not expect it to be something transparent or paper-thin usually displayed in You Tube videos. However, Apple is thoroughly expected to surprise the public with a LTE-enabled bigger and slimmer smartphone in the summers.
