4.       Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

As thin as the iPad 2 and even lighter, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the sexiest Honeycomb tablet we’ve seen. Also, it has a 3-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front camera, and powerful dual speakers.

The lack of ports on the tablet will be a problem for some and the plastic back leaves it feeling less solid than the iPad 2.

Sleek, sexy, and light, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 gets as close to the iPad 2 as any Android tablet before it.

From a design perspective, no Android 3.0-based tablet has matched the iPad 2’s no-nonsense aesthetic. The iPad 2 is sleek, sexy, thin, and light, with a minimalist design that eschews extra ports. Every Honeycomb tablet released so far has struggled to match that appeal.

5.       HTC Flyer

Though the tablet is not as flamboyant as its peers in the market, it still has some features that are trending. The Flyer boasts a 7-inch screen and comes with pre-loaded Android Gingerbread 2.2.

The processor technology is a little off the charts as it sports a single-core processor with is not a lot for gaming but still the laptop is one of the best in terms of ergonomics.

The Flyer is the first of its kind that came with a stylus, a tech that had been discarded since the advent of iOS devices, iPhone being the first of them. However, the stylus in the Flyer is not just good at writing, it also works as a mouse device with the button that is nestled into the stem of the peripheral.

As far as the writing is concerned, the accuracy is around 90 percent according to various expert, which makes it a good choice for students who want jot down notes during lectures, without the hassle of a paper and pen.

Moreover, the slate boasts low-end time-killing games. The downside of the device is the lack of Android-based games. HTC has been lagging in promoting its two flagship tablets; Flyer and its sister, the HTC Jet Stream that comes with a more advanced Android Honeycomb operating system.
