Priyanka Chopra: I am doing the best films being made in the industry

Former Miss. World, Priyanka Chopra, is completely unnerved with all the rumours being made about her personal life over the past few months because the actress knows that currently she is on everyone’s wish list.

Piggy Chops last year did two movies, ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ and ‘Don 2 – The King is Back’. Her first film didn’t do well at the box office but she recently won Filmfare Award for the Best Actress due to her performance in the movie. Her second movie ‘Don 2 – The King is Back’ did exceptionally good at the box office and this year her first film, ‘Agneepath’, has left everyone spellbound. The movie has broken many previous box office records and is still doing wonders.

Therefore, Chopra in her exclusive interview with DNAIndia.com stated she has no regrets since it is a high time for her. She remarked she is doing the best films that are being made in the industry.

“I compete with everyone, but only everyone that I work with (laughs). Jokes apart, I am very competitive and I like to be the best I can be in the opportunities I am given. And to be honest, I don’t care about other people’s careers. I am doing the best films being made in the industry this year. I have nothing to complain about and there’s nothing I regret.”

Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’ had a lot of hype among the audiences, especially after they watch Katrina Kaif’s sizzling performance in ‘Chikni Chameli’. The item song went on to become a massive hit and Katrina was commended by almost everyone.

Nevertheless, when asked Priyanka whether if she gets bothered about Kaif’s item number being highlighted in the film, she said she was the lead and could have never performed in the song anyways.

“No. I am the lead, and I couldn’t play the villain’s moll, which the song is all about, so why should it bother me? I think Katrina’s song adds to the film.”

Priyanka Chopra will now be seen in ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’, ‘Barfee’ and ‘Krrish 3’.
