did not obey direct orders from the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan had been repeatedly asking the Prime Minister of the country Yousuf Raza Gilani to re start an investigation in which the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has been named for money laundering. The Supreme Court of Pakistan
had been asking the government to write to the Swiss probe in order to re start the inve4stigation but he order of the Supreme Court had not been complied with.
The President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari was exempted when the National Reconciliation Ordinance was signed by Bhutto during the time that the President of Pakistan was Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf as the investigation by the Swiss probe was put to a halt.
However, the apex court of the country had deemed the NRO as illegal which in effect asked for the re starting of the investigation against Asif Ali Zardari.
The President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari is line to appear in front of the parliament of the country in order to address the body by making a speech. This has been revealed by Yousuf Raza Gilani, however, the date and time of the speech remain undisclosed.
