Sensation XL: The best HTC has to offer?

A plethora of HTC handsets can be found on the market but the Sensation XL surely outclasses its rivals with stunning beauty matched by flawless performance.

The Taiwan-based company churned out rumours last year that they were developing an iconic phone to match Samsung’s Galaxy SII and the Iphone 4S.

Runnymede was the nickname given to phone but now most of us know it by another title – HTC Sensation XL.

A true mammoth of a phone, its silky white exterior weighs a 162.5 g but surely packs a stronger punch. A 4.7 inch S-LCD with 16M colours is able to mesmerize even the sternest of users and enhances the overall experience by a wide margin.

Although not boasting a memory card slot, the internal 16 GB storage can be used for anything that comes to mind and in order to ensure that all the processes run smoothly, HTC have fitted the XL with a 768 MB RAM.

The 8 MP camera with 3264×2448 pixels, autofocus and dual-LED flash is no laughing matter and should be able to satisfy all the photo lovers with its crisp and crystal clear results. The quality does not deteriorate when it comes to taking videos and with
a resolution of 720 p it’s more than noteworthy.

Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it’s no surprise that the phone is in line for getting an Ice Cream Sandwich update, which should be a better compliment to the 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor running the show behind the scenes.

All in all, an elite phone filled with every feature imaginable, the Sensation XL is unlikely to be ousted from top spot any time soon.
