Pakistan expresses unswerving resolve to boost economic ties with Iran
Islamabad: (Tuesday, February 07, 2012) The Advisor to the Prime Minister on finance, Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said today that Pakistan was committed to boost its relations with Iran, particularly in the field of economy.
Shaikh said this during an interview with the Islamic Republic NewsAgency here in Islamabad today.
The advisor to the PM on finance further stated that both of the countries had great untapped potential to enhance their trade ties.
He was of the view that both of the Muslim countries were united by the bond of history, faith and culture. Commenting upon the meeting between the contingents from Iran and its Pakistani counterparts on economic cooperation, Abdul
Hafeez Shaikh said that they had a productive day to improve the bilateral ties further.
The advisor to the Prime Minister urged the businessmen in both Iran and Pakistan to work together and enhance the cooperation in business and trade sector.
