Karachi: (Monday, February 13, 2012) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan here said today that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was defying court’s order and committing contempt of court only to save President Asif
Ali Zardari’s Rs5bn in Swiss banks.
Talking to the journalists during a media briefing, PTI chief said that after indictment by the apex court, there was no reason for Gilani to remain in his office. He said, “It’s time Gilani stepped down.”
Expressing his resolve to put his weight behind Supreme Court, whatsoever decision it serves the Prime Minister with, he said whoever will assume the PM office would have to abide by the courts and will have to write the letter
to the Swiss government in the money laundering case.
