Grace revealed after his audition that though he grew up playing football, he has been playing guitar and singing songs for the past three years.
“I grew up playing football. After I played college football, I became a football coach. After my first year of coaching, I just decided to buy a guitar one day and have been singing for three years now full-time”, Grace said.
Although the 28-year-old played the guitar with the full house band members, he failed to impress the judges. Singing in a country voice, his vocals were never quite up to the mark. In addition, he never perfected the choruses. However, none of the celebrity
judges turned around and neither did they hit the approval button.
Since Grace failed to move onto the next round, Katrina Parker was always going to make it to the next phase. She sung ‘One of Us’ by ‘Joan Osbourne’.
