Aaron Ramsey frustrated before the Champions League battle against the Italian Champions

Arsenal rising star, Aaron Ramsey, is frustrated for his team’s performance this season. He was hoping that Gunners would’ve achieved a lot more in this 2011/2012 season and regardless of securing a top-four spot in the Premier League, the Welsh is still not satisfied with his side.

It wasn’t for Henry’s only goal that led the Invincibles through to the fifth round at the FA Cup (Titi scored the only goal against Leeds United). Arsenal also crashed out from the Carling Cup against Manchester City in the quarter-finals . The Welsh is really disappointed with his side’s performance this year and is urging his team mates to give their all.

“If we can go there and get a few goals and then come back to the Emirates then that’s going to be a fantastic result for us. Hopefully, we can get a couple of goals and keep them out as well. I set myself targets at the beginning of the season which I haven’t
quite achieved yet,” he said. “But there are still a few games left and hopefully I can get a few more now.”

The Welsh youngster scored a crucial goal after coming off from bench against Sunderland. The team managed to pocket all three points with the help of Thierry Henry’s late goal at the Stadium of Light. However, it was only possible with Ramsey’s equalizer
in the 75th minute. As a result Gunners secured a place in the top four at the Premier League by which they can get a shot for the Champions League trophy next year.

“It’s nice to be level on points in fourth place and back in a Champions League place, where we want to be,” added the Wales international. “We’re going to take each game as it comes. Now we’ll concentrate on the big game on Wednesday.”

Arsenal will face AC Milan in the last 16 at the UEFA Champions League tie and the 21-year-old is hoping that the Gunners will repeat the 2008 result. This tie will be a tough one for the Red Army despite qualifying from the first spot in the league crushing
the group opponents.
