Dereck Chisora: I am the worst type of pest for Vitali Klitschko

Former British heavyweight champion, Dereck Chisora, is eager to show people that he is not afraid of the current WBC heavyweight champion, Vitali Klitschko.

Dereck ‘Del Boy’ Chisora, who is set to take on Vitali ‘Dr. Ironfist’ Klitschko this weekend at the Olympiahalle, Munich in Bayern, told the media most of the guys fear Vitali but he doesn’t fear him at all. Chisora insisted he is the worst pest for Vitali.

Chisora told ninemsn.com.au “I will attack him from the start and hurt him…Most of the guys had already lost to him before they step in the ring, because they were trembling with fear. But I have pride and passion. I am the worst type of pest for him.”

Chisora also turned down a mouth-watering £70,000 offer for advertisement on the bottom of his shoes for his fight with Vitali. The advertisers wanted to put their logo on the bottom of his shoes so that when he gets knocked out; people see their logo on the bottom of his shoes.

However, Chisora rejected the incredible offer because he has no plans of losing to Vitali. The Zimbabwean pugilist, who holds a record of winning 15 of his 17 professional fights, with 10 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, claimed he will beat Vitali on the fight night.

Chisora told the Telegraph “No-one was going to put their logo on the soles of my boots. Doing that would have been like a white flag of surrender even before I stepped into the ring…I was offered £70,000 to do it, but I’ve come here to put it in his face, and take home the world heavyweight title.”

The 40-year-old Vitali holds a record of winning 43 of his 45 professional fights, including 40 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout. He holds the best knockout-to-fight ratio of any champion in heavyweight boxing history. However, it looks as if Chisora doesn’t want to give Vitali any credit for being a talented fighter.

Chisora will enter the fight as an underdog but let’s see if he can really pull off a shocking win over Vitali.
