Ali Zafar grabs Bollywood award

Ali Zafar, who started his Bollywood account with “Tere Bin Ladin”, has been rewarded with his first Bollywood award, this year. The singer-turned-actor has won the “Super star of tomorrow” award at the star dust.

“Thank u #Stardust for the honour. Indeed my first award in Bollywood and a massive one.” He tweeted.

Though his first venture was not up to the mark and failed to meet the expectations, his second successive Indian movie “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” alongside the innocent-faced, Imran Khan and the sizzling beauty, Katrina Kaif, was
a big hit.

However, he failed to land the supporting actor award for the aforementioned movie. Though star dust has ended his trophy wait, the promising actor has been involved in many more projects following his multi talented roles.

His upcoming Bollywood flick “London Paris New York” starring Aditi Rao and Dalip Tahil, is produced by Goldie Behl and directed by Indian heartthrob, Anu Menon. Though the movie is yet to release worldwide, it’s already getting
terrific response by the Bollywood faithful.

Ali, who is performing a lead actor role in the movie, has also composed the music of LPNY. He along with Hadiqa Kiyani and Sanam Marvi, all of the Pakistani talented singers, has contributed a song named “Oo Lala”.

“I want to create sounds that are fresh like our film. And since the film touches on different emotions I can experiment with genres. I will use as many ‘live’ instruments as possible to give the songs an organic feel.

“The London song will be happier, with simpler notes, as compared to the one set in Paris that will be edgier. The New York track will be more refined.” Ali was quoted as saying.

Speaking on the busy schedule ahead of the upcoming movie, Ali revealed that he has been busy to gift his fans a spectacular movie with tempting music. He assured the fans of meeting their expectations.
