Islamabad: (Monday, February 20, 2012) Islamabad High Court has asked the Director General (DG) Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) to ensure the presence of at least an army major before it on next hearing on the missing persons’
case.
Releasing the order, Justice Anwarul Haq wanted to see Major Tariq to appear in person in two missing doctors’ case which were reported to be associated with a banned outfit.
Pleading the court to recover Doctor Qayyum and Doctor Waheed, the families of the missing doctors told that they went missing from Rahim Yar Khan about six months ago.
Allegedly, the major had kept the missing doctors under detention in the intelligence agency’s office located in sector G-9 of Islamabad.
While issuing the orders for the presence of a major in next hearing, the court adjourned until March 14.
