Islamabad: (Monday, February 20, 2012) Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan has ruled out an electoral alliance with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) saying that neither his party will make any alliance with any of the parties
nor he was in favor of forming coalition government.
Talking to the media persons here today in Islamabad, Khan said that an electoral alliance with the MQM was out of question.
Maintaining that his party will take part in elections alone, Imran, however, made it clear that seat adjustment with any single party was a quite possible option.
Commenting on the US bill on Balochistan, Khan noted that it was against the integrity of the country.
Earlier, after PTI’s successful rally in Karachi, which was followed by MQM Chief Iltaf Hussain’s congratulating message, it was believed that PTI and MQM have developed an understanding, under which, they may opt for a political
alliance in the upcoming general elections. However, with today’s remarks by PTI chief, it no more seems a viable option.
