The most prominent devices remained, without any hint of doubt, the tablets. However, several others saw new trends following up shaping the competition in a different stroke.
Not only did tablets and smartphones made the list of best electronic gadgets of last year but there were many other players that introduced their masterpieces in an attempt to make the life of their customers easier.
Following list includes the best of the best gadgets from different categories of electronics that range from home appliances to computers that sit in your lap on the go.
1. Motorola Droid Razr and Droid Razr Maxx
Though 2011 was waterlogged with a number of gadget that hoarded to the market, it would be unjustified to start the list with something else other than a smartphone.
Motorola brought back the Razr brand after a long period and the slimness amalgamated with the Android operating system proved to be a strong suit for the handset.
Its 8 mega-pixel camera might not be the 800 pound gorilla in the room but it complements the rest of the phone like icing on the top of the cake.
Droid Razr Maxx, on the other hand, boasts a marathon of a battery life as compared to other smartphones that run out of juice at the end of the day. The successor Droid Razr can keep up with intensive work for more than 18 hours. The users can watch videos non-stop for 8-odd hours.
Moreover, Motorola has proven that even if a smartphone does not have Ice Cream Sandwich in it, it can be an attractive commodity.
