The best gadget of 2011, Period – Part 2
Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012 6:04:25 by Usman Khalid2. Samsung Galaxy Nexus
The strategic partnership between Samsung and Google on the platform of Galaxy has produced a host of attractive and able phone in the last two or more years. Galaxy SII and Skyrocket are some examples to quote.
However, 2011 edition of the Nexus family, Galaxy Nexus embraced the latest version of the Android operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich. Although the phone boasts a learning curve in terms of OS, as it has a number of changed feature and practically a whole new gestures language, it still has a curved chassis and screen that makes it a looker.
The Super-AMOLED screen is even more attractive in displaying the flamboyant graphics of the software.
On the shorter side of the stick, the phone has a 5 mega-pixel camera, whereas its counterparts and its own siblings belonging to Galaxy family are thriving toward 8 or more mega-pixel snappers.
The most attractive part of the smartphone is its front side that has not buttons whatsoever. The wholesome nature of the touch-sensitive screen that incorporates Home, Return and Search and Multitasking buttons, give it a very futuristic look.
In terms of trend settings, this phone has leaped ahead of iPhone series in the recent times.
3. iPhone 4S
It might be that so far the list has been populated with handsets, but bear with me, it is worth mentioning and populating. It is an inadvertent act and due to over crowded market with a slate of smartphones, it has its reasons to mention at least three smartphones.
Apple started the trend of the modern warfare in cellular phone industry and the company has a trend of introducing a new phone every year.
