King’s X drummer Jerry Gaskill suffers a heart attack

King’s X, an American hard rock band, drummer Jerry Gaskill suffered a heart attack on February 25. Reports indicate that the srummer is now in stable condition.
Doug Pinnick, the band’s bassist, stated on his Facebook page on Sunday that Gaskill has been operated and now seems to be in a better condition.
“Jerry had a heart attack last night. He was operated on and is in stable condition at the hospital. We’re all waiting for more info. I will keep you posted”.
The 54-year-old drummer has been performing with Pinnick and Ty Taboor, King’s X guitarist, for the past 30 years. The American band has thus far released 12 studio albums with the most recent ‘XV’ in 2008.
King’s X ha a U.S tour scheduled in Austin, Texas, on March 28. However, it is still unknown whether the band will be performing or they will change their plans according to Gaskill’s recovery.
