Iqbal Sharma’s wife hits back at Kareena Kapoor

Iqbal Sharma’s wife, Tarina, a starlet who was seen in 2010 Bollywood movie titled ‘Chase’, has hit back at Kareena Kapoor for saying that her husband is a publicity-hungry man and he provoked Saif Ali Khan.

Reacting to Kareena’s statement, Tarina said, her husband is not just an ordinary foreigner in India. She claimed her husband comes from one of the strongest South African political families and therefore he doesn’t really need to attach his name with any celebrity. Kareena Kapoor is Bollywood’s ultimate diva but Tarina slammed her and Saif by saying them ordinary actors.

“My husband is not some star-struck foreigner in India. He comes from the biggest political family in South Africa; he is (the late anti-apartheid activist) Fatima Meer’s nephew. His family was instrumental in getting Mahatma Gandhi in South Africa,” Tarina told Mumbai Mirror, “Why should he know Saif or Kareena? He knows who Amitabh Bachchan is, or maybe Shah Rukh Khan. Beyond that my husband or the rest of my family don’t know (anyone) from the industry, and nor do they care.”

Kareena was along with Saif when the incident took place at Taj Palace restaurant in Mumbai. The actress claimed that Tarina instead of intervening and stopping her husband ‘ran away’ from the venue. Nevertheless, Tarina says she didn’t leave but the reason why she didn’t intervene is because she has not learned how to deal public brawls.

She added, “Everything happened so suddenly that I couldn’t even move from where we were. When it happened, we called the security. The ladies with that person (Saif) have said that I didn’t intervene. I am sorry (but) we have not been brought up to deal with public brawls.”

The fight occurred last week when Saif and Kareena along with some other friends went to Taj Palace in order to have dinner. Apparently the argument started when Sharma complained the management that he is getting disturbed from the noise coming from Saif’s table.

Well, all said and done, Saif, who will be seen on the big screen on March 23 playing a lead role opposite to Kareena in ‘Agent Vinod’, has now apologised to Sharma for whatever happened.
