Bollywood is my own family says Veena Malik

The controversial queen of Pakistan, Veena Malik, has always been criticised by the media especially in India yet the actress has insisted she feels extremely comfortable in the country and the main reason behind it is the love she gets from Bollywood industry.

Veena, who attracted media limelight in India during her stint in the ‘Bigg Boss – 4’ house, recently celebrated her 25^th birthday on February 26 in Mumbai where she made the comments.

Veena told the media she was much worried when she first landed in the country but today she is very comfortable with the circumstances.

Veena said, “When I was new here, I wondered what will happen? What response I will get? And trust me, today standing before all of you, these cameras, photographs, even film cameras…I find the entire Bollywood as my own family. I am so comfortable.”

Veena Malik is currently participating in Hemant Madhukar’s forthcoming 3D horror movie ‘Mumbai 125 Km’ and it was Madhukar who arranged the surprise party for her. Therefore, at the party Veena was all praises for him.

“It’s a very close association with Hemant ji and all my other teams. Hemant ji has always been very supportive. Last time, you must have remembered, when everybody was searching for me, Hemant ji was also very upset and looking for me. So all my teams are just like my own family. But yes. I am thankful to Hemnat ji. He has always been there for me,” she added.

‘Mumbai 125 Km’, which will hit the cinemas in May, will feature the Pakistani beauty in the lead role and along with her ‘Murder 2’ fame Prasaan Narayan and ‘Bendi Bazaar’ fame Vidhita Pratap Singh will also be seen in the main roles. The shooting is presently being held in Pune and Mumbai.

Apart from ‘Mumbai 125 Km’, Malik is also participating in the upcoming films like ‘Zindagi 50/50’, ‘All U Need… LOVE’ and ‘Mr. Money’.

The drama queen will be seen in the season 4 of the reality show ‘Swayamvar’ as well where she will be finding her swami. The show has been named as ‘Veena Ka Vivah’.
