Ali Zafar makes Pakistan proud with his magical performance in ‘London, Paris, New York’

The entire Pakistani population is proud of what Ali Zafar has managed to achieve in the Indian film industry that is known as Bollywood. For the last two years, we have been feeling humiliated because of the image that Veena Malik had portrayed of our celebrities.
However, Ali removed the common misconception that was beginning to spread in India and proved to them that the talent in Pakistan was actually quite genuine and did not require a cheap publicity stunt to attract attention.

Starring in the recently released romantic comedy film ‘London, Paris, New York’, Ali showed what the Pakistani actors were really capable of. His boyish charm, excellent dialogue delivery, brilliant expressions and boy-next-door kept the crowd, well at
least the females, spellbound for most part of the film.

I do not see any reason to talk about the plot of the film here as the trailers and numerous film reviews on the internet are serving that purpose. The only thing that I would really like to point out about the film is the chemistry between Ali and Aditi
Rao Hydari, the cute girl from the Air-Tel ad that we all fell in love with.

A few days back, I wrote an article highlighting the closeness between the two characters, calling it somewhat disturbing considering Ali’s religion (which is Islam) and the fact that he is married. However, after a long and heated debate, I ended up admitting
defeat and agreed to the point that one’s professional life should not be mixed with personal life. Ali’s love scenes in the film are not only done tastefully, but are far from vulgar. The way that love has been expressed in the film is not only sweet, but
inspirational.

People, which unfortunately include me as well, always start talking about religion whenever they are short of a valid argument. We are perfectly content to breach our religious boundaries in everyday life, but love to impose the teachings of Islam on others
as if we have been made their guardians and will be answerable for their actions in the future, completely ignoring the concept of freedom and freewill.

Ali may not be getting appreciated for his accomplishment by the pseudo-pious hypocrites who are okay with the killing of women and violation of human rights but lose their sleep over someone making it big in a country they have been taught to hate. However,
the Pakistani public in general is proud of what the Pakistani artist has accomplished and prays for his success. Who knows, maybe he will end up becoming the next king of Bollywood!

this is hillarious how does ISLAM pop up in a movie review. And who says if someone tries to follow islam to its spirit means they want to kill women. It just showed your lack of words for the movie in question !!!

fatima, next time kindly don’t go through an article while half asleep. i did not assert anywhere in the article that following islam has got anything to do with killing women..read that para again to understand the point that i’m trying to make

and oh, i brought Islam in the discussion because once again i was trying to make a point that you apparently missed..did you comment with the sole purpose of insulting me and my opinion? if yes, then you’ve failed because your words are as insignificant as your existence for me =)..God Bless You!
