Sunday, March 11th, 2012 4:58:56 by Taha HabibTere Naal Love Hogaya is one of the latest flicks in the Bollywood starring Genelia d’Souza and Ritesh Deshmukh. It is overall a decent effort from producer, Kumar S. Turani and director, Mandeep Kumar. The songs of this movie are quite melodious to the
ears and both the leading personnel have given their best to make this venture, a success.
Riteish plays a rickshaw driver’s role while Genelia plays the daughter of a rich person named ‘Bhatti’ who is eager to get his daughter married. Once Viren’s (Riteish) rickshaw is sold by Mini’s (Genelia) father, he demands his 60,000 rupees from the old
man which were buried under the vehicle’s seat. In this process, he steps into Mini’s wedding, who is unhappy with it.
She takes advantage of the situation and asks Viren to portray a kidnapping role and take her away so she could be safe from this marriage. However, Viren gets confuse and does whatever Mini asks him to do. In return, Mini offers him his 60,000 rupees back
at the end of all this.
The duo goes to an unknown place and Mini orders Viren to demand a ransom amount of which 60,000 will be given to Viren and the rest will go in Mini’s account. Viren messes up the situation and both are found wanting before an unknown man took the duo with
him to Chowdhary’s (Om Puri) place, who plays Viren’s father.
Chowdhary is famous for kidnapping people and leaving them after receiving a handsome ransom amount. Mini gets to know that Chowdhary is Viren’s father and tries her best to impress the whole family in order to marry Viren despite their class differences.
When everyone agrees for the marriage, Viren believes that Mini should go back with his father and spend a respectable life. As she is about to tie knots with his father’s selected candidate, Viren comes in time and puts himself in that guy’s turban and
perform all the formalities.
Finally, the movie ends on a happy note. It is a good family movie and therefore must at least be seen once for change in mood.
